Pants Shack
The Pants Shack was established back in the mid 60s by my mom and dad, Ernie and Barbara Silva. My mom ran the store along with the other employees and family.
My dad would control the inventory. He would also sell clothes on the weekend out at park & swap on 40th st and Washington. I started going out there with my dad when I was 10. What a learning experience for a kid. Mom & Dad taught me everything about this store.
Later in life I got married and my wife entered the family business. By the late 80s we started running the store with my mom and dad semi retired. By 2000 we were on our own, still serving Arizona for more than 55 years. And for that we thank everyone so much, We’ve been blessed.
We also have been fortunate enough to find a gentlemen to help run the store. Domingo has been with us for more than 25 years. He is also our number 1 man for cleaning, shaping and cutting cowboy hats.
